Law Enforcement Services

Police officers encounter considerable stressors every day. When this professional stress is compounded by other personal challenges—such as issues with a spouse, children, or finances—it can lead to the tragic belief that suicide is the only way to escape the pain and pressure. Recent studies indicate that police officers are at a significantly higher risk of dying by suicide, a rate 54% greater than that of the civilian population.

There remains a significant stigma surrounding mental health within the police force and administration. Over my six years of experience working with police officers, I've frequently encountered reasons as fears of job loss, concerns about appearing weak or incapable, challenges in trusting someone who lacks field experience, and perceptions that mental health professionals are judgmental and unaware of the job's stresses.

I have focused on fostering strong relationships, establishing a non-judgmental environment, and offering a direct, no-nonsense in my work with law enforcement. I have delivered therapy to officers dealing with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. It’s an honor to serve as a wellness check provider, individual incident stress debriefing provider, and mental health and trainer for various police departments in Central PA.
